Norcross, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision in NB Lanes of I-85 Leads to Injuries
Norcross, GA (April 10, 2021) – At 6 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, April 10, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on a highway in Norcross.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Two vehicles collided with each other in the area, causing them both to spin out. The vehicles sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
