Norcross, GA – Truck Accident on I-85 Near Beaver Ruin Rd
Norcross, GA (April 17, 2021) – Around 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Friday, April 16, a truck accident occurred on a highway in Norcross.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Beaver Ruin Road. A passenger vehicle was photographed at the scene after colliding into the back of a box truck for unknown reasons. The vehicles involved had a variety of damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
One or more lanes of traffic were blocked following the collision for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
