Norcross, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision Leads to Injuries on I-85
Norcross, GA (June 28, 2021) – At 7:57 a.m. on the morning of Monday, June 28, a tractor-trailer collision with injuries took place in Norcross.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Beaver Ruin Road. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it was involved in a forceful collision with one or more passenger vehicles. The vehicles involved in the crash were left with extensive damages due to the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries. The parties have not yet been identified.
The roadway was blocked in the center lane for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
