Norcross, GA – Three-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on I-85
Norcross, GA (June 3, 2021) – At 7:46 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, June 2, a three-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Norcross.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they became involved in a chain-reaction collision due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the accident, though their conditions are not yet known.
The left lane of traffic was blocked in the area for some time, which led to slight delays.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
