Norcross, GA – Rollover Accident on I-85 Near Beaver Ruin Rd
Norcross, GA (July 6, 2021) – At 2:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 6, a rollover accident happened on a highway in Norcross.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Beaver Ruin Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, causing one of them to forcefully roll. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The center lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time as tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the scene. This led to delays in the area.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
