Norcross, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-85 Near Jimmy Carter Blvd

Norcross, GA (November 28, 2021) – At 9:47 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, November 28, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Norcross.

According to Norcross officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 near exit 99, Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, multiple lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Buford Highway as an alternate route.
