Norcross, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-85 Near Beaver Ruin Rd
Norcross, GA (April 27, 2021) – At 4:28 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, April 27, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred on a highway in Norcross.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Beaver Ruin Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they became involved in a collision with each other. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
A right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
