Norcross, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in SB Lanes of I-85 Leads to Injuries
Norcross, GA (July 14, 2021) – At 7:58 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, July 14, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Norcross.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of exit 101, Indian Trail Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided due to reasons that are not yet fully known. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
One center lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time, which led to delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
