Norcross, GA – Chain-Reaction Crash in SB Lanes of I-85 Leads to Injuries
Norcross, GA (April 18, 2021) – Around 1:45 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, April 18, a chain-reaction crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Norcross.
According to the Gwinnett Police Department, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Indian Trail Lilburn Road. Two or more vehicles crashed into one another, causing multiple other vehicles to become involved in the collision. This caused extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
The accident led to extensive delays in the area until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
