Norcross, GA – Car Accident on I-85 Near Indian Trl Lilburn Rd Leads to Injuries
Norcross, GA (January 8, 2022) – One or more victims were injured in a car accident that took place on a highway in Norcross on Saturday afternoon, January 8.
Gwinnett Police confirmed that the accident happened at 3:42 p.m. in the afternoon in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Indian Trail Lilburn Road, exit 101. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Police confirmed that one center lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time, which led to delays in the area.
