Norcross, GA – Car Accident on I-85 Near Beaver Ruin Rd Area
Norcross, GA (July 25, 2021) – At 2:09 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, July 25, a car accident with injuries occurred in Norcross.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Beaver Ruin Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway when the vehicles collided due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
