Norcross, GA – Car Accident in SB Lanes of I-85 Near Jimmy Carter Blvd
Norcross, GA (July 12, 2021) – At 11:21 a.m. on the morning of Monday, July 12, a car accident with injuries took place in Norcross.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Several vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
