Norcross, GA – Car Accident at Jimmy Carter Blvd & GA-140 Intersection
Norcross, GA (September 1, 2021) – At 4:28 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, September 1, a car accident with injuries occurred in Norcross.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Jimmy Carter Boulevard and GA-140. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the intersection was completely blocked in the area for some time.
