Norcross, GA – Car Accident at Beaver Ruin Rd & Bailey Dr
Norcross, GA (July 16, 2021) – At 3:19 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 16, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Norcross.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Beaver Ruin Road and Bailey Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident forcefully collided with each other. This caused extensive damages and caused the vehicles to have to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to delays. Police urged those in the area to use Jimmy Carter Boulevard as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
