Warner Robins, GA (May 18, 2021) – At 11 p.m. on Monday night, May 17, a man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident on a roadway in Warner Robins.

According to Houston County officials, the accident occurred on GA-247 around the area of Elberta Road. A man was walking in the area when he was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle in the area.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, identified only as an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
