Union City, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Near Gresham Rd Leads to Injuries
Union City, GA (July 23, 2021) – At 2:57 a.m. on Friday morning, July 23, a car accident with injuries occurred in Union City.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Gresham Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with each other forcefully. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured and hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
