Norcross, GA – Victims Hurt in I-85 Car Accident at Jimmy Carter Blvd
Norcross, GA (November 20, 2021) – At 7:45 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, November 20, a car accident with injuries occurred in Norcross.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, colliding forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, two left lanes of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time.
