LaFayette, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Dunwoody Rd & Wesley Rd
LaFayette, GA (August 9, 2021) – Around 5 p.m. on the evening of Monday, August 9, a car crash with injuries occurred in LaFayette.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dunwoody Road and Wesley Road. A driver was traveling in the area when they suddenly lost control due to unknown reasons. The vehicle involved in the accident was badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
