Cleveland, GA – Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident at GA-75 & Tom Bell Rd
Cleveland, GA (June 3, 2021) – On May 29, a woman was killed in a pedestrian accident that took place at an intersection in Cleveland.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-75 and Tom Bell Road. A 63-year-old woman was headed east on the highway when she was suddenly struck by a northbound 2002 Nissan Frontier. The pedestrian attempted to avoid the collision but was still struck by the vehicle.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of traumatic injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 30-year-old woman, remained at the scene and has not yet been charged.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
