According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened around 12:14 p.m. at the intersection of GA-365 and Cody Road. Police confirmed that 43-year-old Nathaniel Newton was traveling south in his Chevrolet Silverado pickup when he pulled into the intersection.
