Mt Airy, GA – Injuries Reported in House Fire on Wisteria Trl
Mt. Airy, GA (April 27, 2021) – Around 10:32 a.m. on Sunday, April 25, a house fire took place at a home in Mt. Airy that led to injuries.
According to officials, the split-level home became quickly engulfed in flames and the roof collapsed. Fire crews worked for hours to help bring the fire under control. A woman and three children were inside the home at the time but they safely escaped.
Paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene. The four victims suffered from smoke inhalation and were treated by EMS crews. They are all expected to recover.
The investigation into the circumstances of the fire continues.
