Morrow, GA – Car Accident in NB Lanes of I-75 Leads to Injuries
Morrow, GA (June 27, 2021) – At 10:13 p.m. on the night of Saturday, June 26, a car accident with injuries occurred in Morrow.
According to Henry County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Jonesboro Road. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway in the night hours with low visibility when the vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
