Monroe, GA – Two Injured in Car Crash at Meadow Walk & Rosewood Ln
Monroe, GA (November 23, 2021) – In the afternoon hours on Monday, November 22, a car crash with injuries occurred in Monroe.
According to Monroe officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Meadow Walk and Rosewood Lane. A driver was traveling in the area when they lost control of their vehicle at the intersection. The vehicle first struck a power box and then two other vehicles that were parked in a driveway. The vehicle sustained heavy damages and shut off power in the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Two people sustained minor injuries in the accident and were taken to Piedmont Walton. The injured victims are expected to recover.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
