Monroe, GA – Two-Car Accident with Injuries at GA-138 & H D Atha Rd
Monroe, GA (June 30, 2021) – Around 5 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, June 30, a two-car accident happened at an intersection in Monroe.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-138 and H. D. Atha Road. The accident involved two vehicles, which collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the crash. The injured individuals, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for unknown injuries.
The area was blocked at the intersection for a period of time.
