Monroe, GA – Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 11
Monroe, GA (April 2, 2021) – After 8 p.m. on Thursday night, April 1, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Monroe.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident took place on Highway 11 around the area of Mill Ridge Drive. Multiple vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved were left with extensive damages due to the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. Three patients, who have not yet been identified, were taken to Piedmont Walton for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
