Monroe, GA – Serious Two-Vehicle Crash at GA-11 & Bold Springs Rd
Monroe, GA (May 10, 2021) – Around 9 p.m. on the night of Sunday, May 10, a two-vehicle crash with serious injuries occurred in Monroe.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-11 and Bold Springs Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims were injured as a result. One of the victims, identified as an adult male, was rushed to a local hospital with critical injuries. The conditions of the other victims are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, all northbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
