Monroe, GA – Rollover Accident Injures Three on Double Springs Rd
Monroe, GA (October 30, 2021) – On Friday night, October 29, a rollover accident occurred on a roadway in Monroe that injured several teens.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened on Double Springs Road. A driver was traveling south in the area when the driver lost control of their vehicle. It went off the side of the road and immediately rolled over. The vehicle was badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person had to be extricated from the vehicle by fire crews. One person sustained a critical injury and the others had minor injuries. The parties were taken to Piedmont Athens Regional for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
