Monroe, GA – Injury Accident at Bold Springs Rd & Double Springs Rd
Monroe, GA (November 14, 2021) – At 7:12 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, November 13, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Monroe.
According to Walton County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Bold Springs Road and Double Springs Road. Two vehicles were allegedly traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
