Monroe, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at GA-78 & Unisia Dr Intersection
Monroe, GA (December 13, 2021) – At 4:45 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, December 13, a car crash with injuries occurred in Monroe.
According to Monroe officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-78 and Unisia Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
