Monroe, GA – Car Accident at Snows Mill Rd & Powers Rd Intersection
Monroe, GA (August 19, 2021) – At 4:24 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 18, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Monroe.
According to Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Snows Mill Road and Powers Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
