Milledgeville, GA – Serious Two-Vehicle Crash at GA-49 & Robinson-Johnson Rd
Milledgeville, GA (March 7, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a critical two-vehicle crash that took place at an intersection in Milledgeville on Saturday, March 5.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident occurred at 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of GA-49 and Robinson-Johnson Road. A Toyota Tundra was traveling east at the intersection while a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling west. The drivers both collided head-on with each other in the westbound lane. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the Toyota was flown to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries. The driver of the Silverado was treated at the scene with minor injuries.
The roadway was blocked in both lanes of traffic for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
