Milledgeville, GA – Man Killed in Two-Car Crash on SR 22
Milledgeville, GA (July 27, 2021) – A man was killed on Monday morning, July 26, after being ejected from his vehicle when another driver crashed into it.
According to troopers with the Georgia State Patrol, the incident happened around 10:40 a.m. on State Route 22. They say that a 55-year-old woman was driving her Cadillac Deville eastbound on the highway when she crossed over into westbound traffic and ran into a truck.
It caused the truck to flip, ejecting the driver, who was identified only as a 50-year-old Milledgeville man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman was transported to the Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent via ambulance with serious injuries.
Georgia State Patrol’s reconstruction team will conduct a follow-up and investigate the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
