Milledgeville, GA – Log Truck Accident with Injuries on US-441
Milledgeville, GA (April 7, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning, April 7, a log truck accident occurred on a roadway in Milledgeville.
According to Baldwin County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of US-441. The driver of a large log truck lost control of their vehicle. The truck overturned, which sent logs across all lanes of traffic. Two passenger vehicles struck the logs because they were unable to stop, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. The drivers of both the passenger vehicles sustained injuries. The victims suffered only minor injuries and were hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
