Midville, GA – Fatal Motorcycle Crash at GA-305 & Bark Camp Church Rd
Midville, GA (July 2, 2021) – On Monday, June 28, a fatal motorcycle crash occurred at an intersection in Midville that took the life of one victim.
According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-305 and Bark Camp Church Road. A pickup truck entered the road at the same time as the motorcycle, causing the two to forcefully collide. The motorcycle was extensively damaged due to the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help. The motorcyclist involved in the crash, identified as a 47-year-old man, was severely injured and transported to a local hospital. He tragically succumbed to his injuries while there.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
