McDonough, GA – I-75 Motorcycle Collision at Ex 222/Jodeco Rd Causes Injuries
McDonough, GA (December 24, 2021) – On Friday, December 24, a motorcycle crash occurred on a highway in McDonough.
According to McDonough Police, the accident happened on southbound Interstate 75 at Exit 222 to Jodeco Road. A passenger vehicle was traveling in the area when the driver collided with a motorcyclist in the right lane.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist sustained injuries as a result of the accident and was hospitalized, though they are expected to make a full recovery.
Due to the severity of the crash, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police did not confirm if they found the driver of the pickup truck responsible for the accident.
