Martinez, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on Bobby Jones Expy
Martinez, GA (May 20, 2021) – At 4:26 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, a car accident occurred on a major highway in Martinez.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on the Bobby Jones Expressway around the area of Lowe’s. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons, which led to damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though they are expected to be okay.
One lane of traffic was blocked until police were able to clear the scene.
