Marietta, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-75 Near Delk Rd
Marietta, GA (June 16, 2021) – At 2:54 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 16, a tractor-trailer accident with injuries occurred in Marietta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Delk Road. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it collided with one or more vehicles in the area. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.
