Marietta, GA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-75 Near Delk Rd
Marietta, GA (July 16, 2021) – At 12:46 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 16, a three-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Marietta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 near the area of Delk Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a chain-reaction collision. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were injured in the collision and taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
