Marietta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Leads to Injuries
Marietta, GA (July 21, 2021) – At 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning, July 21, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Marietta.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened on I-75 around the area of Delk Road and the South Marietta Loop. Three vehicles were traveling in the area on the highway when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of serious injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to extensive delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
