Marietta, GA – Injury Accident at Terrell Mill Rd & Paper Mill Rd
Marietta, GA (April 1, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Marietta on Friday evening, April 1.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened around 5:03 p.m. at the intersection of Terrell Mill Road and Paper Mill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries in the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
All northbound lanes of traffic were blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time. Police will update with more information as it is available.
