Marietta, GA – Injury Accident at Dallas Hwy & Midway Rd Leads to Injuries
Marietta, GA (December 1, 2021) – At 8:36 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 1, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dallas Highway and Midway Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the collision, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, several eastbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
