Marietta, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Sandy Plains Rd & Piedmont Rd
Marietta, GA (December 14, 2021) – At 8:27 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, December 14, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Sandy Plains Road and Piedmont Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
