Marietta, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Atlanta Rd & S Cobb Dr
Marietta, GA (December 20, 2021) – At 4:17 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, December 20, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Atlanta Road and South Cobb Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, all lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
