Marietta, GA – Car Crash at Upper Roswell Rd & Johnson Ferry Rd
Marietta, GA (December 12, 2021) – At 2:47 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, December 12, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Upper Roswell Road and Johnson Ferry Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
