Marietta, GA – Car Crash at George Busbee Pkwy & Big Shanty Rd
Marietta, GA (November 29, 2021) – At 3:46 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, November 29, a car crash with injuries occurred in Marietta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of George Busbee Parkway and Big Shanty Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured victims were hospitalized but their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays in the area.
