Marietta, GA – Car Crash at Dallas Hwy & Casteel Rd Leads to Injuries
Marietta, GA (December 28, 2021) – At 8:41 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, December 28, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Dallas Highway and Casteel Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
