Marietta, GA – Car Crash at Dallas Hwy & Barrett Pkwy Intersection
Marietta, GA (December 15, 2021) – At 4:42 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 15, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Dallas Highway and Barrett Parkway. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their current conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police urged those in the area to use Burnt Hickory Road as an alternate route.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
