Marietta, GA – Car Accident Leads to Injuries at Powder Springs St Intersection
Marietta, GA (September 28, 2021) – At 7:21 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, September 28, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Powder Springs Street and South Marietta Parkway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in all lanes of traffic due to the severity of the crash. Police urged those in the area to use Whitlock Avenue or Atlanta Road as alternate routes.
