Marietta, GA (June 7, 2021) – At 11:23 a.m. on the morning of Monday, June 7, a car accident with injuries occurred in Marietta.
According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Sandy Plains Road and Canton Road. Two or more vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles sustained heavy damages due to the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays in the area.
