Macon, GA – Truck Crash at Brad Walsh Pkwy & Einsenhower Pkwy
Macon, GA (August 28, 2021) – Around 10 p.m. on Friday night, August 27, a truck crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Macon.
According to Bibb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Brad Walsh Parkway. A wrecking truck was traveling in the area when it went through the intersection and struck a passenger vehicle that was making a left turn in the area. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the truck, identified as a 31-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The 37-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle and a 21-year-old female passenger were both taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
